Eveline Stock, MD, Appointed Director of the Advanced Lipid and Lifestyle Program
Eveline Stock, MD, has been appointed Director of the Advanced Lipid and Lifestyle Program at the UCSF Cardiovascular Prevention Center.
Dr. Stock brings nearly two decades of experience in lipid care and research to the role. Since joining UCSF as a fellow in 2007, she has cared for patients with lipid disorders through the multidisciplinary Endocrine Lipid Clinic and continued her contributions to lipoprotein research in collaboration with the Kane lab at the Cardiovascular Research Institute.
Her priorities include advancing the Advanced Lipid Disorders Clinic at the Cardiovascular Prevention Center, with a focus on individualized care for patients with familial hypercholesterolemia, elevated lipoprotein(a), severe hypertriglyceridemia, and difficulty tolerating lipid-lowering therapies. Working closely with physicians, pharmacists, and dietitians, she will strengthen the integration of specialized lipid treatment, medication access, nutrition, and lifestyle support into cardiovascular prevention.
Dr. Stock and colleagues are also developing practical online resources covering nutrition, lifestyle, cardiovascular prevention, and medication access, with updates planned throughout the year.
She is working with colleagues to develop an interdisciplinary lipid and cardiometabolic case conference. The proposed forum would support case-based learning among faculty and trainees and foster collaboration across specialties involved in lipid and cardiometabolic care.
