Cynthia Partida-Higuera wins UCSF School of Medicine STAR Achievement and SPOT Award

 

We heartily congratulate Cynthia Partida-Higuera, a Cardiology Division recipient of the UCSF School of Medicine STAR Achievement Award! This award recognizes and rewards excellence in University service, achievements, and performance with a cash award of $5,000.

Cynthia is the Clinical Research Infrastructure Manager and was nominated by faculty and staff for her contributions and commitment to UCSF's PRIDE values. 

As noted in the nomination summary:  Cynthia is the “go-to” person for Cardiology providers when it comes to clinical research. She has established several initiatives that improved workflow and efficiency while leading a team of over 20 staff. With her knowledge and expertise in clinical trial management, she keeps the division on course and makes everyone feel valued and respected.

Cynthia also received the SPOT Award for her exceptional and noteworthy contributions as an administrative team member. Each award winner is given a prize amount of $1,000 (or up to 10% of base salary, whichever is lower).
