Erin Goerlich, MD

Assistant Professor

Dr. Goerlich is a non-invasive cardiologist who joined the UCSF faculty in the Division of Cardiology in 2024. In addition to general cardiology, her clinical interests include reading and performing transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, the management of structural heart disease, and preventive cardiology.

Dr. Goerlich's research interests include using specialized echocardiographic techniques, such as strain, to better characterize and diagnose cardiac conditions including heart failure, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and effects from COVID-19.
