Clinical interests: Cardiologist with expertise in echocardiography and critical care medicine. Focus on care for adults with complex cardiac and non-cardiac disease with multi-organ dysfunction hospitalized in the cardiac intensive care unit.

Research interests: Evaluating the differential effect of cardiac injury and dysfunction on clinical outcomes of inflammatory subphenotypes in patients with the acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and sepsis, to refine risk stratification, monitoring and management.
