Leila Beach, MD

Dr. Leila Yeh Beach is a cardiologist who cares for patients who have heart failure, including those with advanced disease requiring heart transplantation or left ventricular assist devices (which help the heart pump blood to the rest of the body). She has a particular interest in patients with heart failure related to inherited genetic disorders or heart valve abnormalities.

Her research focuses on the development of new medical devices and therapies to treat chronic and acute decompensated (suddenly exacerbated) heart failure. She is involved in multiple clinical studies and works to connect patients with appropriate clinical trials and testing of new therapies.
