Elisa Fanucchi is a Registered Nurse in the UCSF Interventional Cardiology clinic. She is a Bay Area native and has lived here for most of her life. Elisa has worked at UCSF since 2019, where she started as an RN on 10 CVT and transitioned into her current role in the Cardiology clinic in early 2022.

Elisa really enjoys working with cardiology patients, specifically patients that are pre/ post cardiac catheterization. She said, “It’s extremely satisfying to see the huge difference this procedure can make in a patient’s life! One of my favorite aspects of outpatient care is establishing longer lasting relationships with the patients. I’m glad to be on a team of passionate and caring providers who I am constantly learning from.”

Elisa is an important member of the interdisciplinary team in the Interventional Cardiology clinic and is known for her sense of humor and enthusiasm. She was on the 10CVT team that won that Daisy Nursing Team Award for extraordinary nursing. In addition, she has Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification and has precepted many nursing students and new graduates throughout her career.

Outside of work, Elisa is working to improve her Italian language skills. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, cooking, wine tasting, and going on hikes with her husband and dog, Luna.
